Who Is The Duke of Medicare?

Duke Richard took the Duke of Medicare moniker when he began specializing in Medicare and Medicare-related insurance as a licensed agent in 2005. Today, specializing in Medicare is his passion.

He explains one-on-one (or to couples or groups) what Medicare covers, what it doesn’t cover and the options for Medicare-related insurance. Medicare itself doesn’t cover all medical expenses and has costly gaps.

Duke is a member of the National Association of Medicare Supplement Advisors and Toastmasters International.

While Duke represents national insurance companies like United Healthcare, United American Insurance Co., Humana, Coventry and Aetna. He takes pride in being willing to “walk away” from a sale if it is not in the client’s best interest. In many cases, after consulting with a client, he has advised them to stay with the insurance plan they have because “doing the right thing” is essential to his personal code of conduct.
